Welcome!

In order to build a shield against the attacks of the devil, we must take one precept at a time, and no precept by itself will be sufficient. However, take it and lay it on the ground with mortar around it, and grab another precept and lay it next to the other. Now lay line upon line of precepts, and soon you will have a wall that the Holy Spirit can use to help you stand:

Clothed in the armor of God. Each morning remind yourself, “I am saved, I have the righteousness of Christ, I have life, truth, not just educated guesses, I have a message of Grace that the world desperately needs.

Wielding the shield of faith. Review what God has done with and through you recently.

Swinging the spoken words of God ie. verses that counter the lie, prayers that release the Spirit into the situation, testimonies to having been washed in the blood and to God’s activity with and through you; now sing, always sing.

Finally, you will be able to never fear what satan or man may do to you.

My blogs are just precepts. I have been accused by people who do not feel the war going on of just rambling. I counsel you to take each brick, ask yourself if that is really where God is coming from in his word. Then keep it and add other bricks to it. Over the next year, daily review former blogs. God’s truths never change. Then you may say, “I am not ignorant of the devil’s devices, and the Holy Spirit in me will not only parry his attacks, but we will thrust back against the devil’s kingdom and for the Lord’s kingdom!”

To keep the precept, make sure you understand and then share the idea with a friend. To cement it to other precepts, you need to let the Holy Spirit show you how his truths work best in balance with each other. For example: Without the Holy Spirit, you can not actually DO ANYTHING to accomplish a good end/ With the Holy Spirit, you can do your part, avoid sin, and he will take it from there to a good end. So rest, then obey, then rest again, casting all your care on him.

If you find yourself growing, then find courage to tell family and friends. To admit you are growing is to admit that you needed to grow and still do. Even the apostle Paul said that he had not arrived but kept reaching out for all God still had for him.
