Two adults going overboard in anger, tend to realize that they are being ungodly and pig-headed, sothey back off and may even seek compromise or solutions. But, where’s the fun in that? Surely there must be something I can be pig-headed about and not feel guilty!
Try TAKING-UP-A-FAULT. This is where I look for a third-party such as a child, a family member, a friend etc.; I then find something that the person I want to be mad at is doing to “the poor innocent victim”. Awesome! Now I can be as angry as I want and never feel guilty or be motivated to listen, compromise or find solutions. After all, I’m not doing it for myself but seeking the best for this THIRD party. Maybe I would even be “righteous” in calling down fire from heaven for how they treat my Jesus. Luke 9.54
Life rule: I WILL CAUSE MORE TROUBLE FOR THE PERSON I AM TRYING TO HELP THAN THE TROUBLE THEY WOULD HAVE EXPERIENCED IF I HAD LEFT IT ALONE, or dealt with it in a godly fashion.

GOD’S RULES: pray for those who treat me badly, rejoice when I suffer, do good to them who use me badly, bless those who curse me, when struck-turn the other cheek, forced to walk one mile-I should choose to walk two, sued for my coat-give them my shirt etc. etc. I may quit and indulge in “righteous wrath” when I am finished paying back my debt to Jesus Christ.
