In C.S.LEWIS’s Narnia, a little girl Lucy is beckoned by the lion Aslan to go left. He then disappears and she tries to tell her siblings to go left. They chose to ignore her and go right getting into a lot of trouble and messing up their task.
Later she sees Aslan and runs to hug him. He then looks at her and she starts with the excuses. He looks at her and she realizes that she could have gone left and they would have had to follow her grumbling and complaining but headed in the right direction.
Has the Lord asked you to GO LEFT? to stand out from the crowd in your language, clothing, spending of money, what you find funny, affirming that the Bible is entirely true, child discipline, involvement with children etc. etc. Make up your mind to care more about what the “Lion of Judah” will think then what those grumblers around you will think.
For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ
DEAR LORD HELP ME TO ACT AS YOU WOULD IF YOU WERE IN MY SHOES AND NOT TO FEAR WHAT FAMILY OR FRIENDS OR EVEN ENEMIES WILL THINK ABOUT ME!
