DON’T LIKE PLAN B? GET READY FOR PLAN C

I love to plan out my future, so I construct a great plan and even give God a part in the process by saying “God called me to plan A.” I have found that even picturing a path that, to me, would be great for the kingdom of God (and not make me look too bad either) IS A WASTE OF TIME. Even if it was the plan God would have led me in, my bad attitude of not beginning with “NOT MY WILL BUT THINE BE DONE!” has ruined the plan.
Here I go God, back me up I’m sure this is your will.

BEING IN THE WAY, GOD CALLED ME. I need to look for what God has for me in the current moment and place. My reality only touches God’s in the now. Now is the accepted time, take no thought for tomorrow or you will add greatly to the stress of today (and believe the word, sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof). Genesis 24. 27 Matthew 6.34

In each present moment I need to cry out to God saying:

1.HELP I’m powerless,

2.THANKS for your plans for now,

3. SHOW ME YOUR WILL so that I may obey.

Then go about yielding my body members slaves to righteousness moving them according to a growing picture of God’s principle in action. Romans 6

As I obey in the moment, I make my personal goal to get to know, experience, savor, explore, and enjoy God-THEN HE WILL DIRECT MY PATH! Proverbs 3.6

Remember that a lamp unto my feet only shines about 6 feet down the path, no point trying to gaze beyond. Psalms 119.105

When I rush ahead or resent his paths or fall into temptation and fall off of plan A: I mistakenly get back up and try to get back on the path A, rather than gratefully accept the new plan.  If I rebel and insist on plan A, this merely becomes a new disruption to my path and then God offers path C. (I think that I am on plan ZZ)

At no time does he change his ultimate plan which is to conform me to the image of his son Jesus who did not think his own thought or push his own will but did the will of his father. John 5.30 Romans 8.29

God called the Israelites to follow swarms of hornets into the cleared out cities of the promised land. Exodus 23.28 THEY REBELLED. God called them to patiently die in the desert teaching their children to obey God (meanwhile He fed clothed protected and housed them for free) THEY REBELLED They spent the 40 years grumbling and their children did a lousy job of clearing out the heathen in the promised land. God said He would leave the heathen in their midst as a thorn in their side but they must leave the foreign gods alone. THEY REBELLED and embraced the foreign gods. God brought oppressors. THEY REBELLED and clung to their gods. God threw them out of the promised land but promised to bring them back. THEY REBELLED

I need to grab the plan in front of me and let God show his might in making it a glorious one!

LORD HELP ME TO REST IN THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT YOU PRESENT TO ME TODAY REMEMBERING THAT I AM YOUR MASTERWORK (EVEN THE RESULTS OF MY SIN MAKE ME WHO I NOW AM) AND THAT WHO I AM IS PERFECTLY DESIGNED BY YOU FOR THE TASK YOU PREPARED FOR TODAY. Ephesians 2.10
