JUDGE NOT THE OTHER–JUDGE MYSELF

I am called to judge that God’s ways work and other ways don’t. So, if I see another flaunting God’s ways I need to judge his danger and warn him. BUT I DON’T JUDGE HIM TO BE WORTH LESS THAN I, OR TO HAVE LESS HOPE, OR BE LESS LOVED THAN I.

Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour ONE ANOTHER, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
I Corinthians 11:28 But let a man examine HIMSELF, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
6:1 BRETHREN, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, RESTORE such an one in the spirit of meekness; CONSIDERING THYSELF, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye ONE ANOTHER’S burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of HIMSELF to God.
13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.
12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to (follow the rules they pick); only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
13 For neither they themselves… keep the law; but desire to have you (keep the laws they chose to emphasize) that they may glory in your flesh.
14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

In the Old testament the Benjamites raped and slaughtered the concubine of a priest. He went to all the other tribes and roused them to action to punish the obviously evil Benjamites. The other tribes went to God at the tabernacle in Shilo and asked God “do you want us to punish the tribe of Benjamin?” God said that He did. Then the tribes went to battle and in the first two battles they were beaten badly by the Benjamites. Then God said that,”this time you will win,” and they did. If you count the number lost in the two first battles, it was exactly on tenth of the army. God was saying that they were not so great themselves and had not been serving him with the dedication of their firstborn and tithes and He couldn’t use them to wipe out the Benjamites until He had dealt with them. Matthew 5:7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye

Leviticus 19:16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the Lord.
17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
Matthew 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against THEE, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone (Considering the high probability that you have misjudged the situation): if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee,(and you are pretty sure you still have a case, but humbly realizing that you may still be mistaken) then take with thee one or two more (neutral parties that are not already on your side against the brother), that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
